About the role
Scimplify develops and manufactures advanced materials, including specialty chemicals and materials for energy, life sciences, and crop sciences. The sourcing manager will develop category strategies, build supplier networks, negotiate agreements, and lead a sourcing sub-team.
What you'll do
- Develop category-wise sourcing strategies
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and develop domestic and international suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and other commercial conditions
- Drive cost savings through supplier consolidation and alternative sourcing
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strategic relationships
- Lead and mentor a sourcing sub-team
