About the role
Collins Aerospace develops aerospace and defense technologies, including aircraft and airspace systems. This role will lead research and technology development in communication, navigation, surveillance, and aviation weather capabilities.
What you'll do
- Lead research across CNS and aviation weather domains
- Define research questions and technology programs from operational challenges
- Develop proofs of concept, models, simulations, algorithms, and demonstrators
- Evaluate emerging technologies for aerospace applications
- Create technology roadmaps and research investment recommendations
- Mentor researchers and engineers in CNS and aviation weather
