About the role
AT&T develops residential gateway products using embedded firmware and wireless networking technologies. This engineer will build and optimize firmware, wireless features, network services, and automated testing across gateway platforms.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain embedded firmware in C and C++
- Design and optimize Linux wireless features and drivers
- Profile system performance and resolve memory, race, and CPU issues
- Develop Python-based automated and unit testing frameworks
- Implement gateway networking, device management, and containerized services
