About the role
Altera develops FPGA devices for applications including 5G and digital signal processing. The Staff Application Engineer will support customers, resolve design escalations, and contribute to FPGA design enablement and training.
What you'll do
- Resolve customer escalations from analysis through closure
- Help customers improve FPGA designs with field teams and distributors
- Contribute to development projects and produce reference designs
- Develop and deliver training materials on features and methodologies
- Propose industry approaches, algorithms, and practices for internal use
