About the role
Montycloud builds cloud cost management products for Azure estates. This engineer defines billing, allocation, optimization, and reconciliation behavior and guides product and engineering teams on Azure FinOps.
What you'll do
- Model Azure billing across EA, MCA, CSP, and MSP commercial structures
- Design allocation, showback, chargeback, and budget behavior
- Reconcile Azure usage data against invoices and explain variances
- Define and validate cost optimization and commitment recommendations
- Translate Azure billing APIs and cost behavior into product requirements
- Automate billing data collection, normalization, and reconciliation
