Staff Detection Engineer

Zscaler provides a cloud security platform that protects customers from cyberattacks and data loss. The Staff Detection Engineer will own a detection coverage area, set its technical direction, and build and improve detection content.

• Prioritize the domain backlog and own its detection efficacy
• Implement complex detectors and establish design patterns and coding standards
• Review detection content and investigate root causes of false positives and missed threats
• Track detection fidelity, ATT&CK coverage, and regression prevention
• Translate threat intelligence, threat hunting, and SOC feedback into roadmap priorities
