About the role
Ethos provides a technology platform for consumers, agents, and carriers to access and deliver life insurance. The Data Engineer will build and operate data platform services, workflows, and tooling used across the company.
What you'll do
- Build and operate internal data platforms and distributed workflow systems
- Write Python libraries and shared Airflow frameworks for engineering teams
- Create platform applications for authoring and running data jobs
- Govern costs and administer Snowflake, dbt Cloud, Airflow, and Kafka
- Deploy and monitor production services and ML models
- Build orchestration, CI/CD, and testing capabilities for analytics engineering
