About the role
Astera Labs develops semiconductor connectivity solutions and software for rack-scale AI infrastructure. The SoC Design Manager will lead engineers designing and delivering SoC subsystems from architecture and RTL through silicon bring-up.
What you'll do
- Lead and mentor SoC and RTL design engineers
- Own SoC subsystem design from specification through RTL implementation
- Drive design closure against performance, power, area, and schedule targets
- Coordinate with verification, DFT, physical design, firmware, and software teams
- Plan project resources, timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation
- Support post-silicon validation, debug, and product qualification
