About the role
Fictiv provides a digital manufacturing platform and custom manufacturing solutions for engineers and procurement teams. This engineer will assess manufacturability, prepare quotes, advise customers, and coordinate with internal teams and manufacturing partners.
What you'll do
- Estimate costs for CNC machining and other manufacturing processes
- Review designs for manufacturability and recommend changes
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and material requirements
- Clarify customer requirements and explain manufacturing trade-offs
- Coordinate with internal teams and manufacturing partners
- Identify production risks and recommend alternatives
