About the role
Ethos provides a technology platform for consumers, agents, and carriers to buy and underwrite life insurance. The Principal Security Engineer will design secure systems and lead application and AI security practices across engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Design secure architectures for applications, APIs, and cloud workloads
- Integrate security practices into software development and CI/CD
- Conduct threat modeling, design reviews, and risk assessments
- Lead AI security governance, reviews, and adversarial testing
- Respond to complex security incidents and recommend remediation
